Just wrapped up an incredible two-day stay at Zostel Coorg (Madikeri) as part of the Zo Trip(South India edition). The property is tucked away in a beautiful plantation, surrounded by greenery and serene vibes. It was the perfect setting for great conversations, spontaneous games of pool, and evenings filled with music and laughter. Our community manager, Anjali, brought such a fun and welcoming energy to the group. Whether it was dancing to Bollywood tunes or just making sure everyone felt included, she really made the experience special. The people, the place, and the memories made it a trip to remember. Would definitely love to visit again.

I had a great experience at Zostel Coorg — I ended up extending my stay three times and spent almost a week there for both workation and travel. The calm atmosphere, amazing weather, and friendly staff made the entire stay totally worth it. The food was really good, and the dorms were clean, spacious, with a balcony. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I’ll definitely be visiting again — this time with my family. Thank you, team!

Our Zostel stay was safe and comfortable. We had the most amazing experience with hospitable and accommodating staff, nice food and friendly people all around. Mr. Aries was really helpful and patiently answered all our questions. This is definitely a recommended property for everyone.

It was a wonderful experience at Zostel Coorg. I came here to relax before heading back to the coastal side, and I truly enjoyed my stay. The staff were very friendly and provided exactly what I needed. I stayed in a deluxe room with beautiful interiors. The atmosphere, people, and food were all great. I will definitely bring my friends and plan to visit again. Thank you for the wonderful hospitality.🙂

We loved our stay in Zostel Madikeri. It is situated inside a coffee plantation and has beautiful scenery around it. The private room where we stayed was amazing....it had glass walls on two sides and a huge balcony overlooking the coffee plantations. We spent few relaxing evenings in the balcony swinging in the little swing mounted on one corner of the balcony. The staffs there were amazing and took good care of us. They also offered for pickup and drop off from the bus stop. One con that I would mention about the property is that, it is located in a secluded area with minimal to no lighting on the road. So, try to reach the property before nightfall and avoid exploring surroundings of the Zostel campus at night. Also, it is best to have ur own vehicle to reach this place and honestly the person should have good driving skills. For solo travellers, depending on public transport (and not willing to hire a full cab for yourself) it might be a challenge to reach this place and back from Madikeri main hub.

I drove solo to coorg and chose to stay at Zostel Madikeri. Hands down it was a great decision. I collected some beautiful memories, met some great human beings. Special shoutout to Asif and Karan for making the stay a bit more memorable. They made sure engage us into fun activities. It was a fantastic experience for sure.

Absolutely worth it! Loved the Property too much, the journey too was mesmerizing. The rooms were big and clean. We also got to see the dorms which were very nicely maintained. Special shoutout to Riyaz the property manager at Zostel Coorg, he was very friendly, knowledgeable and polite. He and the entire staff ensured our stay was comfortable throughout. If you want itinerary suggestions for your next visit he's the one to check in with. The vibe of the place is awesome, the food great, the property itself is surrounded by coffee plantation and a forest on all sides which makes it a perfect getaway if you're looking for peace amongst the sounds of nature. The location is just a quick 15 minute drive away from the town center of Madikeri, Coorg. Would definitely recommend going to Zostel Coorg, Madikeri for solo trips, with your partner, a group of friends or if you're lucky you might just make a few on the way.

This is my second time visiting, and it truly feels like coming home after work stress. My first stay was 6 nights with multiple extensions that alone says everything. The hospitality and freedom here are amazing. Even late nights were comfortable, with music, a gaming area, and an incredible vibe surrounded by dense jungle and coffee plantation. The staff are excellent, especially the reception staff very mature, understanding, and always helpful. Never once heard a “no.” The heritage-style setup, weather, and sunset views are absolutely stunning. Reaching here from Bangalore is easy, roads are good, parking is spacious, and the surroundings are well lit. I’ll definitely come back again and bring friends along. Highly recommended 10/10 experience.

The location is stunning, right in the middle of Coorg's pretty views – felt like a dream spot from the start. Rooms were clean and super comfy, making it easy to relax after a long day. The common room kept us hooked with pool, foosball, table tennis, cards, and all sorts of games. Just outside, the seating area was perfect for chilling with tea while watching the sunset -pure vibes. Shoutout to our super friendly hosts Karan and Aris for making everything feel so welcoming. Highly recommend this Zostel!

It was my first time staying at Zostel and also my first trip with friends absolutely loved it! The property is beautiful, located inside a coffee plantation, and the vibes were amazing. Met some really great people, and a special shoutout to community manager Karan bhaiya for making us feel so welcome. Late-night Mafia games were a highlight! Stayed for 3 nights and enjoyed every moment. Truly a memorable experience would definitely recommend!
